Transactional SMS Consent Policy

Overview
Growva sends transactional text messages (SMS) to customers who explicitly opt in via a web form on their own mobile device. These messages are informational and account-related only. We do not send promotional or marketing messages.
All SMS consent is collected through explicit user action on a web form. Users must enter their phone number, view the consent disclosure, and verify ownership via a one-time verification code (OTP). This constitutes a double opt-in process.
How Consent Is Collected
Consent is collected exclusively through a web-form opt-in flow on the customer's own device:
Customer initiates enrollment — The customer accesses the Growva join or wallet page on their own mobile device, typically by scanning a QR code at a participating business.
Explicit consent at phone entry — Before submitting their phone number, the customer sees clear SMS consent language describing message types, frequency, data rates, and opt-out instructions.
OTP verification (double opt-in) — The customer receives a one-time verification code via SMS. By entering this code, they confirm ownership of the phone number and complete the opt-in process.
Enrollment confirmation — After verification, the customer receives a confirmation message with opt-out instructions.
Types of SMS Messages
Customers who complete the opt-in process may receive the following types of transactional text messages (SMS):
- One-time verification codes (OTP)
- Enrollment confirmation messages
- Visit confirmations
- Account or visit status updates related to the customer's activity with a participating business
Sample Messages
Verification Code:
"Your Growva verification code is 123456. Reply STOP to opt out."
Enrollment Confirmation:
"You are now enrolled with [Business Name] via Growva. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help."
Visit Confirmation:
"Visit recorded at [Business Name]. Reply STOP to opt out."
Status Update:
"Your account status has been updated. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help."
Opting Out / Help
You can opt out or get help at any time:
- Reply STOP to any message to opt out
- Reply HELP to any message for assistance
Once you opt out, you will receive a confirmation and will no longer receive SMS messages from Growva.
Message Frequency & Rates
Message frequency varies (typically 1–5 messages per month). Msg & data rates may apply.
Data Use & Privacy
Your phone number is used solely for the transactional SMS purposes described above. We do not sell, rent, or share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP. For more information, see our Privacy Policy.
